We're in the last week of February and are rapidly approaching the end of the first quarter of the year! It's time to shape things up around here! To my devoted readers, and those that are just getting here: I vow to blog more consistently this year. There are a lot of posts pending in draft mode that are waiting to be read, and I'm making it my mission to share them and more, more frequently.
I'm tired of the mundane lifestyle and beauty posts, and I am ready to expand the scope of this blog. As Told By Antoinette originally began on Tumblr as a natural hair blog, with the sole goal of inspiring other women through my personal exploration of natural hair. Since then, I have broadened the topics that I write about, and have even freelanced for other online publications. Now, I am ready to take this to the next level! Here are some content topics that I will be tackling, and what you can expect from me as a content creator for this year:
Blogger to Blogger
I get a lot of questions about how I started blogging, different platforms to blog on, and how to get freelance opportunities. So since I am not stingy, I will share with you some tips that have made me successful in my own rite as a blogger.
Music Posts/Pop Culture
I've been analyzing music on this blog for a while now, so let's keep the party going! I will be sharing playlists, what I'm listening to at the moment, and sharing my opinion on different aspects of pop culture.
This is a lifestyle, so there will continue to be healthy living posts sharing recipes and other things to help us on this road to healthier living.
Single on a Saturday Night
I started this blog segment last year to build a community for single women who are enjoying life and loving themselves without waiting for a man to do it for them.
Introducing the "Creative Collective Corner" where I will be spotlighting and celebrating other creatives who are impacting the lives of others and influencing the world with their craft.
YouTube Channel - Launching this Spring!
I am literally pushing myself out of this cave of writer's block and really stretching myself creatively. I am also working on doing something that I have been talking about for years and I'm finally putting some action behind it. I don't want to say too much. You know, "make more moves, less announcements". So when the time is right I will be dropping this news. In the meantime, thank you for sticking with me and I can't wait to share more!
